Provides consumers with up to 20 hours per month of in-home respite services. Each respite worker is responsible for providing companionship to the consumer, supervising and assisting with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing and toileting, and being actively involved with the consumer to promote socialization and community integration. The time the respite worker spends with the consumer allows the primary caregiver the opportunity to attend to their own needs.
